Press Release on the Signing of the Interinstitutional Cooperation Protocol between AIPA and the Agricultural Market Agency of the Polish Republic
On Tuesday, 25 October 2011, the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA) from Moldova and the Agricultural Market Agency of the Polish Republic signed the Interinstitutional Collaboration Protocol within the international conference “Farmers’ Groups in the Republic of Moldova: Opportunities and Possible Benefits” organised under the Polish assistance Project “Support for Creation and Organization of Farmers Groups in Moldova”.
AIPA’s Director General, Mr. Petru Maleru and the Deputy Director of the Agricultural Market Agency (ARR), Mr. Lucjan Zwolak, signed the agreement.
The protocol lays down the procedure of interinstitutional cooperation between AIPA and ARR with a view to carry out exchange of experience and information on financial and agricultural assistance and institutional organisation.
As a result of this event, ARR will help enhance the skills of AIPA employees by establishing and developing forms, mechanisms and procedures of intervention in agriculture. The agency will also support the implementation and improvement of the management and internal control system, the interaction between the district subdivisions and those of the administration of AIPA and ARR. The Agency will consult its employees as well as possible beneficiaries or farmers regarding the methods and techniques of working out business plans, projects within the EU, methods and techniques of developing the information system with a view to ensure efficient management of the subsidization fund by AIPA, as well as to develop the process of specialists’ recruiting.
The signing of the cooperation protocol reconfirms Moldova’s European aspirations. Therefore, Moldova will insist that EU creates as clear accession perspectives as possible and provides the most substantial objectives for approximation to the EU.
